I’m a cinematographer based in Mexico City trying to bring cinematic imagery to documentary work. Currently, I’m working as a contract video producer for the United Nations and a freelance videojournalist for CNN International.
My work for clients including CNN International, the United Nations, National Geographic, Al Jazeera and MSNBC has taken me to over 15 countries across Latin America, Africa, Asia and Europe.
I was the cinematographer for AJ+ Español’s first documentary series, filmed in 6 countries across Latin America, which will be released in 2020.
I contributed photographic work to the documentary Los Comandos, which was shortlisted for the Oscars 2019. My still photographs have been published in TIME Magazine, The Guardian and El País.
I studied philosophy, politics and literature and speak German, Spanish, English and Portuguese.
